Hi Year 6! I hope you are all well and looking forward to the sunny week ahead! It has been lovely to see everyone who has returned to school this week – we have missed you! It is great to have you back!
Here is an overview of the learning to be completed at home:
As some of the learning will be taught in school this week, I have provided a list of what NOT to cover at home if your child is coming back to school. This is particularly important if you are in Miss Dunn’s group on Thursdays and Fridays. Please see the information attached.
Spelling – Synonyms and Antonyms
Grammar – Using Apostrophes https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/articles/zrprkxs
Lesson 5 – NRICH Problem Solving
There are 3 problem solving worksheets altogether – please try and complete the first one.
Theme Park: Making a Profit
Lesson 4: Working out entrance fees
History and Geography – How WW2 started and the countries which were involved.
French this week is about a visit to the doctors and will link with the learning we did about parts of the body. Work your way through the PPT and complete the task. There is also a transcript of the story which is in the PPT complete with the translation to help you. Remember if you want to share it on Seesaw, Miss Dickenson can forward on to Mrs Elliott to see.
