Messages from the PTA

The PTA will be collecting any unwanted second-hand school uniform next week. If you could send any items in nearly-new condition to the school office, it will be offered out for donations on the evening of the school discos.

Please remember to send in your coloured hamper donations, raffle ticket money and unwanted raffle tickets by Monday 10th July at the latest. The raffle will be drawn on Tuesday 11th July.

Sports Days

Thank you to all who were able to support our sports days. The weather was  kind to us and a great time was had by all. Thank you also to the PTA for providing the children with a much deserved and welcomed ice lolly, after all their hard work. The combined house scores for sports day in ascending order were:
Terry – 69 points
Rowntree – 92 points
Tuke – 104 points
Making Craven house the overall winners with a huge 155 points! Congratulations to all representing Craven house!

PTA News – minibeasts in EYFS

This half term, EYFS are focussing on minibeasts and with some of our PTA money, we have been able to order a butterfly garden and some live caterpillars. These arrived on Monday lunchtime through the post and the children were really excited to meet their new friends! They are still very small, but are very wriggly and the children have enjoyed watching them and using the magnifying glass to study them! We are hoping they will all transform into beautiful ‘Painted Lady’ butterflies that we can release before the half term holiday.EYFS

PTA Autumn Term Fundraising News

Please see below a breakdown of monies raised by our PTA during the Autumn Term.

A huge thankyou to all who have organised and supported these events, helping to raise an amazing total of £3740.73. These contributions make a significant difference to our school curriculum and provision, enabling us to purchase resources, which otherwise, simply can’t be afforded through the delegated school budget. We are, as ever, very grateful.
